First time here?

We want you to feel welcome and at home at The Rock Church. We know that your first time at a church might bring up some questions, so feel free to reach out to us or check out some frequently asked questions below!

FAQs

What will services be like?

On Sunday mornings, you will experience inspiring music, an encouraging message, and friendly people.

An average service starts with a greeting, followed by a couple of worship songs, and announcements. We then continue with a 30 minute sermon, and one or two additional worship songs.

On Wednesday evenings at 7pm we have Bible Study on Zoom.

What time should I arrive?

We suggest arriving a few minutes before the service begins to allow for parking, restrooms, etc.

We want you to be able to find a comfortable seat, and you’ll probably feel more acclimated to the room if you have a few minutes to adjust before the service begins. You might even make a new friend!

Do you have something for children?

Absolutely! Children ages 3 to 7 have their own activities designed especially for them. If you wish to bring your children with you to the adult service on your first visit, that’s fine too! We are thankful to have your family join us.

If you have children attending Rock Kids, we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes in advance of our 10 AM service to get your children registered, because safety first!

What should I wear?

We’re way more concerned with meeting your real life needs than with what you wear to church. But so you’ll feel comfortable, know that most folks dress in casual weekend attire, and even the pastor will be wearing jeans. So dress comfortably and you’ll fit right in!

How can I grow in my relationship with God?

2 Corinthians 5:17 says when someone becomes a Christian, they become a brand new person inside. A new life has begun. Your new relationship with God is up to you but we are here to help. Start attending services regularly, being in an atmosphere where worship and God’s word is being proclaimed will affect your life drastically.  Start to serve in a ministry, giving back is one of the best ways to receive. Getting consistently in Gods presence by, reading his word, prayer, sharing your faith with others.
